I am a junior in the College and I'm involved with Penn Bioethics Journal as one of the assistant editors and research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). I love Penn's yearbook because I like the freedom to be creative with one's writing by incorporating design and photography and seeing the final product getting published. |

I am a sophomore in the college loving Penn so far! I am not exactly sure where my life is going yet, but I might want to go into research. Besides yearbook, I am involved in Alpha Phi Omega and Renewal College Fellowship. Through yearbook I hope to contribute and give back to the school that has given me so much already! |

I am a sophomore looking to pursue a degree in English. While my interests and expertise run more parallel to the discipline of creative writing, my time at Penn has allowed me to develop an interest in journalism and print media in general which I fully intend to cultivate over the course of my undergraduate career. I am also involved with Penn's feminist literary magazine The F Word and the Daily Pennsylvanian. In my spare time I enjoy reading novels and plays, visiting museums, quoting T.S. Eliot and marathon napping. |

Working on the yearbook at Penn represents to me an extension of what I've done in the past on a bigger scale and with even greater latitude for me to explore my creative potential. I've always viewed the yearbook and similar publications to be ways in which I can connect with the larger community and that thought is particularly applicable at Penn. I really like designing and using Photoshop and InDesign to create interesting layouts. I have high hopes and expectations of myself and really wish to bring all the skills I developed as yearbook editor here and make a difference. I think the experience will be rewarding, exciting, and enjoyable and I hope to be an important part of it. |

I am a junior and a Peer Advisor for the freshman class. I plan on concentrating in Journalism, Literature and Print Media while pursuing a Fine Arts minor. I love writing and design, so the yearbook attracts me like the proverbial moth to a flame. When the brain's natural memories start to fade, the yearbook will remain as the record of every student's years at Penn. The placement of the words and the pictures on the page continually captivate me. |

I joined yearbook during my freshman year because I was really interested in design and wanted to get involved in student activities. This is my second year as editor-in-chief, and I'm excited for all the changes this new staff is bringing to the book. Apart from our brand new website and efforts to increase awareness across campus, our goal for this year's book is to create a photo journalism inspired book that will help seniors relive memories years to come from now. |

I am the editor of the campus magazine Little Black Book, which focuses on the well-being and well roundedness of minority women on campus. I teach 6th through 10th graders media literacy, world literature, and drama at the ASE Saturday Academy, which is a Saturday enrichment program for students in the greater Philadelphia area. And I am also a freelance writer and photographer. I love Penn Yearbook because it allows me to become more deeply involved with the school I love and I think there is nothing better than being able to provide the visual memories for the seniors who are about to graduate. |

I joined the yearbook staff because I wanted to use my photography skills to help produce something that would capture student life at Penn. Having moved around quite a bit, I've learned the importance of yearbooks. I enjoy taking photos of events that I normally wouldn't go to and being part of a diverse community. At Penn, I plan to study Biological Bases of Behavior and might even pursue a minor in photography. |
